Description: Pre-Marriage Counseling with Temperament helps the student develop a pre-marriage counseling technique using the tools of Systems Family counseling and Temperament Therapy. The course includes a textbook and workbook. Pre-Marriage Counseling with Temperament develops a specific six-week plan for pre-marriage counseling utilizing tools that are valuable to both the pastoral counselor and the clients.

The primary goal of this course is to teach students how to integrate Temperament, system, and structural techniques in the use of pre-marital counseling.

Note: This course leads to Advanced Certification in Integrated Marriage & Family Therapy if the student completes this course along with the following courses:

• Marriage & Family Counseling
• Integrated Temperament Couples Therapy
• The Father-Daughter Connection

Please note: The students completing advance courses must receive a grade of 80% or better for course credit to be applied toward an academic degree. Any grade transferred for an advanced course receiving a grade less than 80% will not qualify to be applied to the N.C.C.A. degree transfer program.
