Description: Quality, Ethics & Legal Issues in Christian Counseling explores ethical and legal issues the Christian counselor faces. The course includes one textbook and one workbook. Quality, Ethics & Legal Issues provides the student a clear understanding and importance of confidentiality. Additionally, the student is provided with information regarding referrals, helpful agencies and programs.

The textbook includes several counseling forms which may be copied by the student to form their own file of counseling and evaluation forms.

Note: This course leads to Advanced Certification in Cognitive Therapy & Ethics if the student completes this course along with the following courses:

  • Cognitive Therapy Techniques in Christian Counseling
  • Life’s Answers through Counseling with God
  • Making Life Healing Changes

The course materials will be shipped to the student’s address on file or you can request digital files.

Please note: The students completing advance courses must receive a grade of 80% or better for course credit to be applied toward an academic degree. Any grade transferred for an advanced course receiving a grade less than 80% will not qualify to be applied to the N.C.C.A. degree transfer program.
